   blood, murder, crime, suspense, the dumb blonde, flashbacks, big fight that everything depends on, the audience usually knows more than the characters, they make really silly mistakes that get them killed

   lots of reds or blues used depending on if it’s paranormal or slasher

   it’s allowed to be more graphic now as the restrictions are different
